Fixed assets: cards, depreciation and reports

Shipard now keeps a fixed asset register. You create a card straight from a line of a received invoice; it gets an inventory number and a plan of tax and accounting depreciation. Depreciation for a period is posted in one document. Reports — the depreciation schedule, additions and disposals, tax depreciation for the corporate tax return and the asset register — download to Excel. A check of the register against the journal shows differences on the Dashboard. Still missing: deferred tax, units-of-production and accelerated accounting depreciation, printing the card and stocktaking. Details in What it does.
