A new module for low-value and long-term assets, from a card created from an invoice to posted depreciation.

Shipard now keeps a fixed asset register. You create a card straight from
a line of a received invoice; it gets an inventory number and a plan of tax
and accounting depreciation. Depreciation for a period is posted in one
document. Reports — the depreciation schedule, additions and disposals, tax
depreciation for the corporate tax return and the asset register — download
to Excel. A check of the register against the journal shows differences on
the Dashboard. Still missing: deferred tax, units-of-production and
accelerated accounting depreciation, printing the card and stocktaking.

Download issued documents as a PDF with a QR payment code, send them to your customer and give them your own look.

An issued invoice no longer ends up just sitting in the records. Download
it as a PDF with a QR payment code, or send it to your customer by e-mail
with the Send button — in Czech, English, Slovak or German, depending
on the customer's settings. The same goes for advance invoices, cash desk
receipts and sales receipts. Put your logo and company colour in the
header and your own texts on the document and in the e-mail. Whatever was
sent is in Sent messages. Before you send your first document, set the sender
address in the settings — see What it does.

An overview in sections that follow the flow of work, and a new To handle section for e-mails that ask something of you.

The Dashboard is now split into sections by what you need to do with your
mail and documents, from Items to create to Alerts. The new To handle
section collects e-mails without a document that want something from you:
a domain expiring, a payment request, a request from a public authority. The card
tells you what to do. When the message states a deadline, the card shows
it and turns red as the deadline approaches. Once it's dealt with, clear
it away with Done. More in What it does.

A site that shows what is being built in Shipard — in Czech and English.

This site is new. Shipard is in alpha and we want what we're building to
be visible — and tryable, not just readable. Here you'll find
what the application does and
what it can't do yet, how to get
access and where it's heading. The
English pages are there because we're building for the whole EU and
looking for people who know their country's rules — the
application itself is Czech for now. Content is generated straight from
the GitHub repository, so it never claims more than the code does.
